The Forum is guided by a Director to provide long-term leadership.  The primary roles of the Director are to develop clear policies that will implement the values of our organization, raise funds, and engage fellows and researchers to accomplish the mission.

To limit staffing, the Forum strategically partners with other organizations to assist in the efficient delivery of a number of services.

Forum Researchers

The primary work of the Forum is carried out by the Forum’s Research Fellows and Research Associates.

Research Fellows are leading academic researchers from international conservation oriented universities and research institutes. Research Fellows supervise graduate students and provide guidance and support to the Director.

Research Associates are researchers from universities and many other organizations related to conservation management. Non-faculty research associates are important to add diversity to the research teams and represent a wide variety of viewpoints.
